PET bell

Consists of hundreds of lids from cherry tomatoes and other transparent packaging material. These lids were given to me in early 2022 by @mistermokum Too nice to throw away he thought. They were in my studio to be incorporated into the jellyfish collection but found their way into a new work.
In the future, all packaging, in the Netherlands as part of recycling will be made of transparent PET.
We are drowning in plastic waste! No way to recycle that!
From 15 - 19 July, I was a guest at the summer studio of CBK Zeeland at the invitation of Amerentske Koopman.

During the summer weeks, 5 artists, Amerentske Koopman, me, Adinda de Kousemaeker, Jonathan Straatman and Nelleke Bosland worked in the CBK's space for a week afterwards.
